What if you knew your parents before they were your parents? Have you ever wondered why they made the choices they made? Greenberg's Pulitzer Prize finalist play - recently on Broadway with Julia Roberts - centers on a brother and sister and their childhood friend who meet in 1995 to divide the legacy of their late fathers, partners in a renowned architecture firm. In an effort to bring some peace to their own lives, the three try to solve the mystery of what had gone on between their parents’ decades before. The story then shifts to 1960, with the same three actors portraying the previous generation. Secrets are revealed and surprises discovered in this tender, touching and surprisingly funny romance.
