“What is a Lintel? I must admit I did not know! What could one man do on stage for over and hour? Honestly, I could not imagine, but from the moment Mark Nash took the stage, I found myself immersed in a tale about the librarian, the lintel and the wandering Jew. It was a tale evoking laughter one minute and then unexpected grief. I highly recommend you go see the show and for a short time suspend all disbelief!! Mark Nash was terrific and I promise he will captivate your attention as he did mine!”

“i had the opportunity last night to witness the marvelous performance of mr nash prtraying himself as a curious librarian. from the very beginning i was hooked. i followed each twist and turn in the story line, enjoying each sidebar. the way the story pulled me in, forcing me to physically engage myself in awaiting the next clue, induced in me a feeling nothing short of giddy, it seemed. and for the show to go on for 90 minutes with no break...how does one keep all that in one's brain, at the ready? bravo!! this is the second performance i have attended, and i am duly impressed at the talent pool. thank you for who you are!”

“Wonderful. A tour de force. Loved it. What are we going to do without mark?”

“loved, loved, LOVED it!! what an original unfolding of a universal theme - humanity's longing to be witnessed/we are all one/who are we and why are we here/life is short so.../what is eternity?/reality? Mark brought it home, revealed a very human, dignified character, encompassing a range of traits we can all relate to, and gave a performance you want to climb inside of. His librarian was so genuine and compelling and endearing, and told a story that invigorates and inspires, and affirms the vitality of the human condition. A swan song to be truly proud of. Thank you so much, Mark Nash.”

“I LOVED this show. I see everything Vt. Stage has to offer because of the extraordinarily delicious gift Mark Nash possesses of picking interesting, out-of-the-ordinary, and always touching shows for us. Under the Lintel was suprising, unexpected, riveting, & engaging throughout-a especial challenge for a one-person show--done splendidly. What a rich, transformative script, performance and experience. Thank you, Mark!”

“I read Mark Nash's review "I heard it's pretty good" and would have to agree! I really did enjoy your performance Mark. You left us wanting more and thinking perhaps our time here is quite short and are we really using it to the max.”
