Kathryn  Blume

Kathryn Blume (Ensemble)

is an actor, writer, yoga teacher, wedding officiant, public speaker, climate activist, and longtime Artistic Associate with Vermont Stage Company.  VT Stage productions include Much Ado About Nothing, Amadeus, Midwives, A Streetcar Named Desire, Waiting For Godot, A Child's Christmas in Wales, Vanya/Vermont, Sylvia, and a whole bunch of Winter Tales.  Look for her new, as-yet-to-be-named solo show this spring.

Ethan T. Bowen

Ethan T. Bowen (Ensemble)

is very happy to return to Vermont Stage for his twelfth show with the company and second with Jason Jacobs. Ethan was seen last season at VSC as Louis de Rougmont in Shipwrecked, Elliot in Opus, and in Winter Tales 2009 reading Kathy Blume's "Coming to Town, Part II" which featured Gonzo, the Elf.  An Artistic Associate with VSC, previous productions include the Moss Hart Award winning play Mad River Rising by Dana Yeaton, Midwives, O'Carollan's Farewell to Music, Piano Stories, Amadeus, and Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, among others. With an MFA from the Graduate Acting Program at New York University, he has worked with such theaters as: The Joseph Papp Public Theater, The Acting Company, Lost Nation Theater, St. Michael's Playhouse, and more recently in Washington DC at Woolly Mammoth Theater, Olney Theater Center, The Shakespeare Theatre, Roundhouse Theater and Theater J. A board member of the White River Valley Players, Ethan also directs, (including last fall's world premiere of RANSOM) teaches, and is a long-time artist-in-residence with the Vermont Stage Young Playwrights Program. Ethan lives with his lovely wife, Courtney, in central Vermont.

Jack  Bradt

has been active in theater--mostly little theater--since taking a master's degree in Acting from State University Binghamton, New York thirty-some years ago.  Variety is a hallmark of Jack's theater life, having played such disparate roles as Macbeth and Malvolio, Koko in The Mikado and Chauvelain in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Oedipus Rex and Norman (The Dresser), Lady Bracknell, Puck and the Pirate King.  Jack supports his "habit" by making furniture and cabinetry, principally for the Vermont State House.  He is truly blessed to be working with this company again, in the company of these wonderful hearts.

Patti  Casey

Patti Casey (Ensembel)

Native Vermonter Patti Casey has been called  "...the voice of Vermont contemporary music" by the Times Argus. With a voice that's strong and sweet, a catalog of timeless songs, and a history of penning classics that have found their way into the folk music world across the United States, Patti has become the vocal backbone for many of our region's finest musical productions.  Her list of awards includes Kerrville Folk Festival Songwriting Contest winner, Chris Austin Song Writing Contest winner, South Florida Folk Festival Songwriting Competition finalist, A Prairie Home Companion "Talent From Towns Under 2000" winner, and Telluride Songwriting Competition Finalist. Patti has written and directed music for Burlington's Vermont Stage Company, and has produced 5 independent recordings of her music, 3 of which landed in the Seven Days Top Ten Recordings of the Year. Her 2010 release "The Heart of a Waiting Boy" was named Top Country Album of 2010 by the Times Argus/Rutland Herald and was the fourth most-played album in the worldwide folk circuit for the month of February 2011 (FolkDJ Radio). She provided soundtrack music for Pasture Productions' award-winning independent film "The Summer of Walter Hacks," and for the independent documentary film "Brush and Pen: Artists and Writers of the White Mountains." Donald Grody (Ensemble)

Broadway: Caroline, or Change; Jekyll & Hyde; Bells Are Ringing; Happy Hunting; Wonderful Town; Gentlemen Prefer Blondes; Kismet; Ankles Aweigh; The Vamp. National Companies: Guys and Dolls; Parade. Regional Theatre: Dallas, Buffalo, New Haven, Glens Falls, Paper Mill Playhouse, Philadelphia, Nashville, Westport, Ft. Lauderdale, Roanoke, Providence, Pittsburgh, Sacramento. Most fulfilling until now: Malcolm in Tooth and Claw at Philadelphia's Arden Theatre; Old Soldier/Judge Roan in Parade; and Ziggy in Mimi Le Duck at Adirondack Theatre Festival, reprised at NYC International Fringe Festival. Television viewers will have seen Donald on Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and daytime soaps.

Melissa  Lourie

Melissa Lourie (Ensembel)

has been an equity and now a former equity actor for quite a long time.  She lives in Middlebury with her wonderful husband Peter and their two cats. (The kids have left the nest and the dogs have passed on).  Melissa teaches acting part time at UVM, is the co-founder of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, and is the Artistic Director of the Middlebury Actors Workshop.

Craig  Maravich

This marks Craig's 4th show with Vermont Stage Company and he would like to extend his thanks to Mark and the entire VSC community for the opportunity to create in such a fulfilling environment.

Recently, Craig completed working with The Bread Loaf Acting Ensemble where he played multiple roles in the play Mad Forest. He also served as a teaching artist at Bread Loaf alongside some of the nations leading literary scholars and professors of English and theatre.

Regionally, Craig has worked with theatres throughout the Northeast and Washington, DC including: The Kennedy Center, Long Wharf Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre (DC), Washington Shakespeare Co., Source Theatre, ACT Co., Elm Shakespeare, Yale University, St. Michael's Playhouse, and Middlebury Actor's Workshop. 

As an educator, Craig teaches acting and has taught theatre/acting in various capacities including work with Yale University, Middlebury College Bread Loaf School of English, St. Michael's College, The Flynn Center for Performing Arts and several guest lecturing assignments.

Ellen McQueeney (Ensemble)

performed with VSC in Quilters, Winter Tales 2005 and Woody Guthrie's American Song. Other regional credits include Maria in The Sound of Music at the Flat Rock Playhouse (NC), June in Smoke on the Mountain at the Foothills Theatre (MA), and Lilly in Swingtime Canteen at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre (CT). New York credits include Audrey in As You Like It at the Blue Heron, and Amy in Amy Fisher: The Musical, at the Wings Theatre. Recently, Ellen was seen and heard as "Elaine Krup" during the University Mall's holiday TV and radio ad campaign.  She also teaches preschool music and entertains in the Burlington area with her business, "Ellie's Preschool Parties". Taryn  Noelle

is absolutely thrilled to be a part of this phenomenal team and cast.  Taryn is a local dance teacher and choreographer, as well as being a Jazz vocalist and an actor.  She also has recently entered the Front of House world, as the new House Manager for the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center, in Stowe. www.sprucepeakarts.org

Bob  Nuner

Bob Nuner (Ensemble)

has enjoyed working on and off with a number of Vermont theater and film/video production companies since moving permanently to Vermont. Roles include the Chaplain in Mother Courage, Estragon in Waiting For Godot, multiple roles in David Budbill's Judevine and Two For Christmas, and, recently, origination of the role of Frank in his Song for my Father. He's enjoyed performing with VSC in Our Town, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Drawer Boy, Vanya/Vermont, Inspecting Carol, and Winter Tales. Residing in Central Vermont, he has in recent years explored aspects of Northeastern homestead-scale agriculture.

Andrew  Sellon

Andrew Sellon (Ensemble)

most recently played all 35 characters in VSC's I Am My Own Wife.  Also at VSC: Winter Tales 2005 & 2006, the title character in The Foreigner, Vladimir in Waiting for Godot, and 95+ characters in eleven consecutive seasons with VSC's Young Playwrights Festival.  Andrew holds a B.A. cum laude in English from Harvard, and an M.F.A. in Acting from UNC-Chapel Hill.  He is proud to be an artistic associate at VSC, and a member of Actor's Equity, the Dramatists Guild, and ASCAP.  He is also currently the President of the Lewis Carroll Society of North America.  Please visit www.andrewsellon.com and www.lewiscarroll.org for more information.  Andrew would like to thank his extended family, and especially his partner Tim Sheahan, for their unwavering support and encouragement.

Wayne  Tetrick

Happily returning to the FlynnSpace stage Wayne was last seen as the Duke of Gloucester in King Lear. Previous Vermont Stage appearances include Larry in Inspecting Carol and Owen Musser in The Foreigner. Among his regional theatre appearances are Inherit the Wind with Albany's Capital Rep., Arms and the Man at the Flat Rock Playhouse and The Displaced Person with the Theatrical Outfit in Atlanta, GA.  In 2008 Wayne was featured as Wade in the award-winning short film, Knock, Knock, Who's There produced and directed by Adam and Evan Beamer. Afton C Williamson

is a Graduate of Eastern Michigan University where she received her B.A.  She then headed south and spent the last two years at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival where she received her M.F.A. Her ASF credits include: Crowns (Yolanda), Cymbeline (Soothsayer), Dr. Faustus (Clown), and James and the Giant Peach (Aunt Spiker). Other credits: Twelfth Night (Viola), Measure for Measure (Isabella), In the Blood (Hester), and Soaring on Black Wings, Directed by and Starring Mr. Ben Vereen. Afton is thrilled to be a part of such a touching story and even more excited to be in such a beautiful place, working with such wonderful people. Her highest gratitude goes to her Father up Above, her beautiful mother, grandmother, her Mt. Zion Family, and the many influential people she has crossed paths with over the last few years.  She dedicates every performance to her grandfather, Nanny, and her extraordinary mother, for without her, none of this would be possible.

John B. Forbes (Lighting Designer)

has previously designed the lighting for Photograph 51, Oliver Twist, The Glass MenagerieOpus, My OhioKing LearInspecting Carol, Woody Guthrie's American Song, True WestCopenhagen, The Foreigner and The Drawer Boy at Vermont Stage Company.  In addition he has designed the lighting for productions at the Old Globe Theatre, the San Diego Repertory Theatre, the Center Repertory Company, and the Ensemble Theatre Company, all in California.  He has also designed lighting for Theatre Aspen in Colorado; the Riverside Shakespeare Company and Theatre Matrix in New York; the Arizona Theatre Company, and Saint Michael's Playhouse, the Big APE Dance Company and Lost Nation Theatre in Vermont.  He is the winner of three L. A. Dramalogue awards for his designs at the Old Globe Theatre and three Shelley Awards for his designs with the Center Repertory Company.  He is the faculty lighting designer at the University of Vermont in the Department of Theatre, and his lighting design for UVM's production of Metamorphoses was displayed in the Gallery Exhibit at the World Stage Design Exhibition in Toronto.  He has also taught at San Diego State University and the University of San Diego, and while at U.S.D., he also managed Shiley Theatre.  In that capacity he served as the technical liaison between the University and the Presidential Debate Commission for the final Presidential Debate of 1996 held there.

Jennifer Moulton (Stage Manager)

is thrilled to be working on My Ohio, her 13th  production with VSC. Jen graduated from the University of Vermont in  '06 with a degree in Theatre. She then spent the 2006/2007 season  working as the Stage Management Apprentice at Round House Theatre in  Bethesda MD. Jen would like to thank Mark, Lisa and the cast for a  great show, her family for their constant support, and Evan for always  believing in her, much love!

Joel Abbott (Pianist)

is happy to be making noise in FlynnSpace once again. Vermont credits include Underneath the Lintel, The Glass Menagerie, Cloud Nine, Shipwrecked, Souvenir, Opus, Prelude To A Kiss, Well, Always Patsy Cline, Blithe Spirit, Around the World in 80 Days, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Dames at Sea. He recently returned from a four month tour as musical director with The Second City, performing sketch and improv comedy shows. Prior to moving to Vermont, Joel was a member of the improv comedy ensemble with Dad's Garage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. This is Joel's eleventh show with Vermont Stage Company. Special thanks to Mark Nash for everything.

Lexie Picker (Assistant Stage Manager)

is a graduating senior at the University of Vermont, with a BA in Theater and Psychology. This is her first experience as an ASM for a full production with VSC. She has worked as a stage manager for the UVM Theatre Department's 2009 Festival of One-Acts, as well as assistant stage manager for The Vermont Stage Company's single production of The Complete History of Vermont Stage (abridged) this fall. Her acting credits include various plays in UVM Theatre Department's Festival of One-Acts in 2009 and 2008, as well as playing a role in UVM's production of The Toys Take Over Christmas in 2008. Lexie is extremely enthusiastic about working on this production with VSC. She would like to thank Mark for this wonderful opportunity, and Jen and Corinn for all of their support and guidance.
