VSC actor and activist Kathryn Blume, whose solo project The Accidental Activist has toured nationally over the last 3 years, embarks on her next attempt to save the world with a new one-woman performance piece. Created especially for Vermont Stage Company, The Boycott is a hilarious and heartfelt re-telling of Aristophanes' classic sex farce, Lysistrata. When the First Lady of the United States attempts to combat global warming by launching a world-wide sex strike, she awakens a courageous call to arms that rekindles hope for the possibility of perserving the one and only place we all call home.
